關於

Respiratory Syncytial Virus bronchiolitis is one of the most common and potentially serious lower respiratory infections affecting infants and young children, particularly those under two years of age. This course provides pediatric nurses with a comprehensive, evidence-based framework for recognizing, assessing, and managing RSV bronchiolitis across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings. Emphasis is placed on airway physiology, disease progression, and early identification of respiratory compromise to reduce morbidity and prevent escalation to respiratory failure. Nurses will gain a strong understanding of age-specific risk factors, including prematurity, congenital heart disease, and chronic lung disease. The course integrates clinical reasoning with practical bedside nursing interventions, focusing on oxygenation, hydration, and supportive care strategies.
