關於

Heart failure (HF) represents one of the most prevalent and complex chronic cardiovascular conditions encountered in nursing practice. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of left-sided, right-sided, and congestive heart failure, emphasizing the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic evaluation, and evidence-based management of each type. Nurses play a vital role in the early recognition of symptoms, prevention of exacerbations, and coordination of interdisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes. This self-paced course equips learners with a strong clinical foundation to identify, assess, and intervene effectively in patients with heart failure across various care settings—including acute, long-term, and home environments. Emphasis is placed on patient education, lifestyle modification, medication management, and culturally competent communication to support adherence and self-care. Learners will develop the knowledge and confidence necessary to deliver holistic, person-centered cardiac care that promotes improved quality of life and reduces hospital readmissions.
